Visit of a Taiwanese Delegation and PIN AWARDS 2025 Recognition

On June 25, 2025, FreeYa Mind Campus had the distinct honor of welcoming a high-level delegation from Taiwan, led by His Excellency Mr. David Nan-yang Lee, Ambassador of Taiwan. The Ambassador was joined by Mr. Richard Wang, Managing Partner at Taiwania Capital — a prominent venture capital firm that invests in early- to growth-stage technology and biotech startups across Taiwan, the United States, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Central and Eastern Europe. The delegationʼs visit was further enriched by the presence of Mr. Alexandru Muraru, Member of the Romanian Parliament representing Iași. This strategic encounter was part of a broader initiative to explore opportunities for collaboration in areas such as investment, advanced technology, education, and scientific research. Throughout the visit, FreeYa Mind Campus showcased its vision as a next-generation innovation and education hub anchored in quantum technology and artificial intelligence, aiming to accelerate interdisciplinary collaboration and foster international partnerships. The discussions emphasized the mutual interest in strengthening ties between Romanian and Taiwanese innovation ecosystems — particularly in the context of regional development and global competitiveness.

This high-level international visit came just days after FreeYa Mind Campus was honored at the PIN AWARDS 2025 – The Regional Tech Industry Awards, where it received the prestigious "Education Initiative of the Year" distinction. The 8th edition of the awards ceremony took place on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, bringing together leaders from the regional tech, education, and business communities.
