Classiq and FreeYa Mind Campus Announce a Quantum Applications Hub in Romania

On 14 October 2026, Classiq and FreeYa Mind Campus publicly announced a multi-year strategic commercial agreement to establish a quantum applications hub at the Center in Iași. The partnership was signed in September 2026 in Tel Aviv, Israel, and links the Center’s IBM Quantum infrastructure and academic network in Romania with Classiq’s quantum software platform, covering quantum application development, education, enterprise adoption and national capabilities.

About Classiq

Classiq is the world’s leading quantum software company – present across the US, APAC and EMEA, backed by more than USD 200 million in funding, and trusted by Fortune 500 enterprises, public sector and government agencies, and universities at the forefront of quantum computing. Its end-to-end platform covers the full development lifecycle: designing high-level algorithms, compiling them into optimized circuits and executing them at scale on any quantum hardware or on GPUs.

Scope of the Hub

• Platform access – users on campus and across Romania’s quantum ecosystem gain access to the Classiq platform, including agentic AI interfaces, the Qmod modeling language, circuit synthesis and hardware-aware execution.
• Software on IBM Quantum infrastructure – Classiq’s software and training complement the Center’s IBM Quantum infrastructure, including the IBM Quantum System Two.
• Training and certification – Classiq provides training from introductory curricula to modeling and algorithm design; the Center offers curriculum materials, practitioner training, enterprise onboarding and Classiq certification resources.
• Ecosystem reach – the initiative builds on the Center’s network of enterprises, research institutions, public-sector bodies and more than 12 partner universities, and is open to government organizations and participants in EU-funded programs.
• Regional presence – Classiq will establish its Romania regional headquarters at FreeYa Mind Campus.
